Isn’t it amazing watching all the athletes compete at the Olympics? One thing is for sure, they are at the peak of their game.
I am particularly interested in the British cycling team. They are sweeping all before them, largely due to how they train. Obviously they have all great sporting ability, and I’m not trying to downplay that. But that doesn't go the whole way to explaining their success. No, there is something else at play, that lets them maximise the benefit of the talent.
The principle they work under is, leave nothing to chance. Every little detail is examined and honed and perfected. Everything the athletes eat and drink, as well as how and when they exercise is examined down to the smallest detail.
Now, I’m not suggesting we can all go to that extreme, but we can all follow a healthier lifestyle – eat right and do a bit more exercise. The great thing is, that is the route to getting and maintaining the perfect body. So, do what Team GB’s cyclists have done – take control of the detail and achieve spectacular results.
Stick with it
Wasn't the Olympic opening ceremony great last night? The history of Britain all wrapped up in an exciting spectacle. And it was great to see all the nods to popular culture and great moments from our past. And God bless the Queen for playing her part. Glad she survived the parachute jump lol.
Anyway turning to other matters - even though we haven't had the weather here in the uk for a lying in the sun, it doesn't mean you shouldn't aim to have a bikini (or swimming trunk) body. You know the secret to achieving permanent weight loss- eat right and move about a bit more. Let the Olympics give you the inspiration to do the latter, but be very careful about what you eat as you sit and watch the games. Avoid all food wrapped in pastry and high fat snacks like crisps, cakes, ice cream. Pop over the to the Permanent Weight Loss page for some more information.
