So, Britain has won their first medal, (well two now actually). Both from valiant women who pushed themselves beyond what they thought they could. Well done to them both.
Achieving permanent weight loss can be a bit like that. You know that, if you are to be successful you need to make lifelong changes to your lifestyle. That can be hard.
You've heard me say a million times, losing weight is easy - eat less and move about more. The hard bit is sticking to the plan.
The only reason people (90% of people) fail to lose weight is because they give up and return to their old ways.
So how do you stay the course. Well, some people find that they need some form of outside support. NLP techniques or hypnosis techniques can give you the edge when your subconscious mind starts trying to sabotage your plans. Click the link to find out more.

Wasn't the Olympic opening ceremony great last night? The history of Britain all wrapped up in an exciting spectacle. And it was great to see all the nods to popular culture and great moments from our past. And God bless the Queen for playing her part. Glad she survived the parachute jump lol.
Anyway turning to other matters - even though we haven't had the weather here in the uk for a lying in the sun, it doesn't mean you shouldn't aim to have a bikini (or swimming trunk) body. You know the secret to achieving permanent weight loss- eat right and move about a bit more. Let the Olympics give you the inspiration to do the latter, but be very careful about what you eat as you sit and watch the games. Avoid all food wrapped in pastry and high fat snacks like crisps, cakes, ice cream. Pop over the to the Permanent Weight Loss page for some more information.

Morning friends and happy Friday 13th. I've just finished reading this fabulous ebook by my good friend, Audrey Finch.
I really enjoyed it, and judging by the comments she's received on Amazon so have a lot of other people.
It follows Pat, a young, frankly feckless, woman on a life changing adventure that will bring her danger, excitement, love, heartbreak and ultimately strength and self awareness.
If you are looking for something exciting to read I would highly recommend this debut novel from Audrey. It's available on Amazon UK and Amazon USA.
Have a look
To lose weight in a safe and sustainable way you have to eat right and exercise more, but that doesnt mean you can't have some fun. A good diet will include a range of fruit and vegetables along with carbohydrates, milk and dairy products and, of course, proteins. When you're thinking about what to eat, why not play around with colour.
What colours are on your plate? Can you see a variety, or are you sticking to the same groupings all the time? There are many reasons why you should add some colour to that plate
Green s like spinach, kale, cauliflower, cabbage, broccoli, and Brussels sprouts contain indoles which have been shown to benefit the body in a number of important ways, including reducing the risk of developing colon, breast and prostate cancer and even helping reduce tumour growth in cancer patients.
Red foods are full of antioxidants, which help to repair the damage done by life and living such as smoking, stress and sun damage, providing protection from cancers and age-related diseases such as Alzheimers.
Orange foods like carrots, sweet potatoes, pumpkin, peaches, apricots, cantaloupes, mangoes, and butternut squash are full of antioxidants, vitamins, fibre and phytonutrients and, as well as being good for your skin, eyes and heart, may also decrease your risk of cancer.
Yellow and Orange foods such as oranges, tangerines, lemons, pears, nectarines, grapefruit, apricots, pineapple, peaches, and yellow peppers. contain carotenoids and bioflavonoids, (water soluble plant pigments that function as antioxidants) and vitamin C. These promote the health of your heart, vision, digestion and immune systems, and even promote stronger teeth and bones, wound healing and healthy skin.
Blue and Purple foods get their colour from anthocyanin another strong and protective antioxidant, which can support healthy ageing and reduce the risk of cancer. They also packed with flavonoids — known to be one of the most powerful phytochemicals. Flavonoids are heart-healthy and can lower your risk of heart disease. Purple fruits include grapes, plums, figs, raisins, prunes and blackberries.
So go on, have some fun with your plate.

Can you believe it's July already? Where does the time go? How are your weight loss plans going? Losing weight is hard, there is no question about that. In theory it’s easy enough, eat less, exercise more and stick at it. Of course there’s a lot more to it than that, but you get the idea. You need to get the first two sorted out properly, but what about sticking to it? Isn’t that the really hard bit? It’s easy enough at the start, you’re quite happy to pass up on that piece of chocolate, or the calorie laden sweet. You may even fool yourself into thinking that it was easy and you’ve won.
Wrong! That’s when you’re at your weakest and your new iron will-power decides to leave. So you just have one little biscuit. After all, one won't do any harm. Right? Then the voice in your head reminds you that this is all pointless anyway, and you've had one, so you may as well have another. Then, before you know it you’re back in the old routine and the diet is history.
If you do want to lose weight, then why not give yourself a fighting chance? Find a healthy weight loss solution you are comfortable with and let weight loss hypnosis help you to stick with it. That way you will succeed and achieve permanent weight loss.
